This reduces focus shifts your eyes make when viewing a flat screen, which helps result in less fatigue and more comfortable viewing over extended periods. Additionally, the 144 Hz refresh rate means the display shows a new image 144 times per second for less delay between each individual frame and therefore less input lag.
